The summer of 2025 was filled with adventures, trying new things, and having more time to enjoy some favorite activities. There’s no place like Disneyland to kick off the fun! Familiar rides and special childhood memories were part of the magical experience of being at the Happiest Place on Earth where everything remained a novelty! The Harris Family gifted us the tickets to have this wonderful day. Next up was the OC Fair with more fun rides, yummy soft-serve, and playing games with the hopes of winning a stuffed animal. We thank Andrew for the tickets to the fair.
After these exciting outings, the girls appreciated a visit looking at the unique plants and flowers from around the world at the Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton. As they strolled the grounds, they saw turtles swimming in the lake and curious ducklings wandering on the grass. These tender moments were calming for our busy girls.
As the days of summer were slower and longer, our Members enjoyed swim days at Diana’s house down the street and at the rental house. Pool time is both soothing and relaxing, and helps to support the girls with some water therapy. It also has allowed for exercise while having fun being active. Family and friends joined in beach walks throughout the sun-kissed days along the coast. Picnics at the park, birthday celebrations at the bowling alley, and even naps in the backyard were all part of the summer memories and special bonding time for deepening friendships and building fellowship.
