We began working on the designs for the rebuild of Mae House earlier this year, 2025. But even before that, there were plans in the works to expand Mae House to accommodate more Members. We looked into ways of doing that, which involved a remodel and expansion of the current home. But after many hours of thoughtful consideration, we decided to demo our beloved Mae House and build a brand new 6 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom home for our current four Members and two additional Members.
We have begun the process of meeting potential Members and it is really exciting to think about who might be living with the girls and working with the Assistants.
Everyone is really excited about being at the rental property in Costa Mesa, which has a lovely layout where each of the girls has their own bedroom, a pool on property, and is on a safe and quiet cul- de- sac. The girls moved in mid-September, and it was a very easy transition with all of the hard work and preparation by the Assistants, lead by Megan, our Administor. Thank you Megan for making this transition as seamless as possible for the girls of Mae House.
We began demo the week of October 20th, and we hope the build process takes about 14 months, getting our Members moved into their new home by Spring of 2027.
