CARRIE
Independence – this word best describes what Carrie has been able to accomplish throughout this year. She has the desire to take daily initiative to do things for herself. Whether it is with her chores at home or her responsibilities at work, Carrie completes her tasks with fewer prompts and less support from those around her. She engages with her housemates and Assistants with greater ease and conversations naturally unfold. Carrie is more comfortable sharing her feelings and expressing her thoughts. She communicates with clearer intentions and enjoys the company of those around her. It brings her great joy to gift her friends and Assistants with special drawings she has created. Growth towards independence is in abundance for our sweet Carrie, who continues to share so much love and light with those who are blessed to be in her presence. Something new Carrie would like to do at the rental home is to find a new favorite “special lunch.”

TANETTE
Tanette had a chance to visit her sister in Las Vegas twice this summer. She loves going to the airport and flying on her own. She cherishes time with her big sister as the bond they share runs deep. Having purpose is something that is important for Tanette. No matter how big or small a task is, as long as she can contribute to it, there’s so much fulfillment for her. When she creates a new piece of art at Aspire, problem solves conflicts with roommates and peers, helps with chores around the house, or attends Mariners for worship and activities, she grows so much from being involved. As Fall is here, Tanette loves all the holiday decorations and is especially excited about the pumpkin spice drinks at Starbucks. Something new Tanette would like to do at the rental home is visit all the different vendors at the Swap Meet near the house.

GINA
Gina continues to live her best life with plenty of fun and laughter. The steady rhythm of routines keeps her grounded. Gina schedules her Access rides to and from work at the supermarket and is organized with her responsibilities at home and at work. We are so proud of Gina for accomplishing all of her achievements. She shares feelings and works through her emotions with positive effort. Wednesday Bingo and weekly date night with her boyfriend remain the top highlights. She enjoys taking walks to get fro yo and loves to share a good joke. Halloween is one of her favorite holidays, and Gina loved planning her costume and decorating the house to welcome all the ghosts and goblins. She is our bright spirit who is generous with her hugs. Something new Gina would like to do at the rental home is to discover the new neighborhood on walks.

HANNAH
Friends or strangers, Hannah loves to say hello and ask how you’re doing! She genuinely hopes you’re well and feeling happy just like she is. Hannah remains curious about the world around her and continues to express her many thoughts and ideas with increased ease. Her chatter brings smiles and warmth to all those around her. Consistency and routines help Hannah develop more confidence. Going to the libraries around town, riding her bike in the neighborhood, and walking the aisles of Target allow her to meet and greet many new people and say hello to some old friends. Swimming in the pool at the rental home is now one of her top favorite activities and she is splashing and laughing in full gear. Something new Hannah would like to do at the rental home is meet the new neighbors as she rides her bike.
