The exciting process of trenching has begun!

Our incredible partner, IMAC, has shown big strides in structural concrete, foundation footings and utility trenching.

Big thanks to Mark Haloossim + Ruben Rodriguez at Contempo Floor Coverings for the incredible discount extended to us for our Laminate Flooring. They have the most beautiful and wood-like Laminate product on the market, and it will be a great fit for Mae House and will serve us for many years to come.

Mae House applied for and received a Grant from The Murphy Family Foundation. We are so grateful for their support of our new home and grateful for our friendship with Susie!

The Murphy Family Foundation, established in 1999, is dedicated to enriching the lives of children and young adults with disabilities.
-
Their mission is to improve their everyday quality of life by supporting programs in health and education that empower them to become fulfilled and contributing members of society.

Funding from this grant will support the implementation of technology to support life-long learning for its Members. That is, technology will be used to help build greater autonomy and independence by coordinating chores and organization, increase literacy with apps that focus on language development and expression of thoughts through writing, and leisurely games, such as puzzles + crosswords for brain development.

January was a fun month at Mae House, and the girls spent a Saturday at Heroes Hall Museum and Centennial Farms. See pics below!
